Well. That didn't take long! As many of you know, the first ever F1 Launch Party for the 2025 season was announced, taking place in London's 02 Arena. Within a matter of hours after the announcement, we saw a new graphic go up....SOLD OUT.

How can this even be? Was there some form of fraud? Someone on the social media team drumming up the event? Or, were thousands of people keeping their finger on the ticket link in a mass ticket buying massacre?
The event is set to be held February 18th, 2025. Tickets went on sale for an astonishing low price of around $75 - $140 /ea. Not too shabby for a massive F1 event, right? (No, that doesn't also get your ass to London).
Formula 1 said all tickets appeared to have gone within the hour, and issued this statement regarding the unusual purchases:
“We are aware that a few tickets for our season launch event at The O2 have been listed on unofficial resale websites. We can confirm that this is against the terms and conditions of sale and that any tickets bought through an unofficial resale platform are not valid for entry. Working with The O2 we have also identified that a number of the listings are fraudulent,” a spokesperson added.
Formula 1 also said fans should use only the AXS official resale website, and verify they are purchasing from legitimate F1 websites.
The event promises to go all out for their inaugural launch party, including Q&A with drivers and Team Principles, musical guests, wine and food, and of course, the parade of brand new F1 cars by all 10 Teams.
